Excitel announces new broadband internet plans: Here’s everything you need to know

Excitel has recently unveiled plans to augment its broadband internet offerings by introducing 400 Mbps plans to its existing lineup. Following successful pilot testing in Mumbai, Excitel assures that the 400 Mbps plans will be accessible in all cities where the service operates. In addition to the high-speed 400 Mbps option, the broadband provider has also rolled out new plans featuring speeds of 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps.

Vivek Raina, the CEO and co-founder of Excitel, highlighted the company’s commitment to providing high speeds at affordable rates, reminiscing about their pioneering introduction of 20 Mbps when the national average was merely 1 Mbps. Raina emphasized that the new 400 Mbps plan aims to cater to the diverse needs of Indian users and families, covering areas such as entertainment, education, work, gaming, and video streaming, all delivered seamlessly and without interruptions.

For those interested in exploring these plans, the one-month subscription for the 200 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 699, the 300 Mbps plan at Rs 899, and the 400 Mbps plan at Rs 999. Additionally, users are required to pay a refundable router security deposit of Rs 2,000 upon subscription.

Furthermore, subscribers opting for the 400 Mbps plan for three, six, nine, or twelve months will incur costs of Rs 2,500, Rs 4,194, Rs 5,931, and Rs 7,188, respectively, with Excitel waiving off the router security deposit. It’s important to note that all prices mentioned are exclusive of GST. Activation of these plans can be done through the Excitel website or by reaching out to customer care.
